OUR ASSOCIATE PROGRAM
The B. Monroe Associate Program is a hands-on experience designed to support real growth behind the chair. Associates receive training in technical skills, guest experience, and the business side of the industry, guided by our experienced mentors. The program follows a performance-based level system, creating a clear path forward as associates build confidence and capability.
Our goal is a smooth, well-supported transition from associate to service provider—ensuring each associate leaves prepared for long-term success in the industry.

B. MONROE APPRENTICESHIPS
The B. Monroe Apprenticeship Program offers an alternative to traditional cosmetology school for individuals pursuing a career in the beauty industry. This state-approved program allows apprentices to complete required training hours in a working salon environment while earning an hourly wage.
Apprentices receive structured, in-salon training focused on technical skills, guest experience, and the foundations of a successful career behind the chair. Learning happens through guided mentorship, hands-on practice, and regular in-salon education.
Throughout the program, apprentices gain real salon experience by working with guests, supporting service providers, and learning day-to-day salon operations. The program follows a performance-based progression designed to build confidence, encourage steady growth, and prepare apprentices for independent work.
Upon completion, apprentices are prepared to successfully take the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology exam and transition into a service provider role within a professional salon environment. If you’re considering attending Central Georgia Technical College in Macon or Warner Robins, or The Beauty Academy, B. Monroe offers an innovative, hands-on alternative within a working salon setting.
