How would you describe your style? I would say my style is a bit edgy with a touch of glam and pure style
Favorite quote/mantra/words you have received? I think there is nothing more satisfying than having your client get back to you later with an “LOVING MY HAIR’’ comment
Favorite service to perform? I truly love doing balayage highlights as well as bright vivid color styles, that allow me to display my artistic side using my client as my canvas
Favorite hair era? What do you love about it? Omg, there are too many. I love the iconic glamorous hairstyles of some of the first cinemas as well as some of the big Hair Buffon looks of the 70s and with some of the styles of today it seems like we’re returning to some of that with an updated curve.
Best advice you have ever received? I am only a strong as the coffee I drink, the hairspray I use, and the friends I have.
What’s one thing you never leave the house without? I carry my Redken metal hair bag with me everywhere, it pretty much has the staple goods I need to make your hair look good anywhere.
Who is your ultimate hair icon? This is absolutely not a fair question!
What makes B. Monroe special to you? There is too much to put here. Never have I worked at a place that felt like a well oiled machine, where I felt welcomed, and where the employees that work there rave and love it. It is incredibly clear that they care about you and not just your clients, but the people that you work under and around with. They give you the tools that you need along with the training from haircutting, color, highlighting techniques, to how to keep business records and move forward in your career. I am so happy I’m here.
What inspires you most about your career? I would say pretty much everything, I love what I do and I say if you really love what you do you never truly work a day in your life.
